The Butler Barracks / Veterans Village Initiative was created to help provide safe, structured, and dignified housing opportunities for veterans experiencing homelessness, transition challenges, mental health struggles, disability- related barriers, and instability after military service.
This Phase 1 sponsorship campaign is focused on acquiring, preparing, furnishing, and launching the first veteran facility so that veterans can enter a safe, equipped, and welcoming environment.
Our mission is to build a supportive veteran-centered community that promotes healing, accountability, wellness, independence, workforce readiness, and long-term stability.
We envision a future where veterans have access to more than temporary shelter.
Butler Barracks / Veterans Village aims to become a long-term veteran community model that combines safe housing, wellness support, peer accountability, employment readiness, and veteran empowerment.
Phase 1 begins with securing and properly preparing a safe, functional, and dignified facility that veterans can immediately benefit from.
Your sponsorship helps transform a building into a safe, furnished, veteran-centered living environment equipped with essential furnishings, safety systems, operational infrastructure, and welcoming move-in support.
Veterans often face significant barriers after military service, including housing instability, emotional distress, employment challenges, social isolation, and difficulty navigating civilian systems.
Many veterans struggle silently while attempting to maintain independence and dignity.
Butler Barracks / Veterans Village seeks to bridge the gap between survival and stability by creating an environment where veterans can rebuild with structure, support, and purpose.
This is not simply a housing initiative. This is a community restoration project.
